2007 sets out to be a great year for Playstation 3 games; there are some real great potential sellers that are geared up to be released into the console market. Motorstorm

Motorstorm is going to be a top selling upcoming Playstation 3 game of 2007. With visuals that are beyond anything seen in dirt track racing before, and an environment that is both hazardous and infinitely destroyable, this game is going to redefine racing on a gaming console. The environment itself is as realistic as real life, with the whole racing experience packaged up; sludge, muck and madness.

Lair

If Playstation 3 users are feeling adventurous and wanting to play with dragons, then the upcoming game of Lair may be the right choice. As one of the most eagerly awaited Playstation 3 upcoming games, the game, with its incredibly extreme detail and heroic battle scenes will allow users to take the place of dragons and destroy the world around them. It takes place in a world that is being threatened by volcanoes, which are destroying the land and making the air polluted. The game relies heavily on Playstation 3s Sixaxis motion controller. The release date is set for August 2007.

Final Fantasy XIII

Following on from its predecessors, Final Fantasy XIII sets to break new barriers with its even more improved graphics and game play in the futuristic world that sees major fight scenes, battles and quests. Whilst previous Final Fantasy games have seen random encounters turn ugly, this is not to return this time, but instead individual enemies may be given personalities and background stories. An official release date has not been set, but the game is already on waiting lists around the world and sets to be a major seller and a leader in upcoming playstation3 games.

Heavenly Sword

This upcoming Playstation 3 game is quite different than your ordinary classic fighting games. It is a martial arts action-drama game with a freestyle combat system and features a main character, Nariko, who takes on armies of enemies unaccompanied, armed with nothing but her sword, to save the Heavenly Sword. Nariko has one weapon which breaks down into 3 types, each form involving its own unique fighting style. It is being released in September 2007 and has already won multiple awards for its technological excellence and game play, amongst other things.
